What is the difference between acupressure and acupuncture?
Acupressure DOES NOT USE NEEDLES. Based on a tongue, pulse, and interview assessment, your practitioner determines the patterns of energetic disharmony in your body and promotes balanced functioning through direct pressure on specific points that promote an even flow of energy in those blocked areas. Blockages of energy and circulation create pain, so by allowing for the smooth free flow of energy, pain and other symptoms are relieved.
How can acupressure help me?
East Asian medicine accounts for whole body systems, including organ function, energy levels, sleep quality, immunity, and hormone balance. By identifying an energetic pattern of disharmony, acupressure seeks to promote relief of common symptoms, including:

- Muscle and joint pain
- Circulation problems
- Chronic fatigue
- Insomnia
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Menstrual symptoms and women’s health
- Digestive problems
- Immune support
- Skin conditions
- Tinnitus
- Seasonal colds and allergies
- Addiction recovery
